In this series I’ve been working with the images of dead birds. Each one of these artworks is inspired by a bird found in my day to day life and photographed. The paintings started off being images that reflected my discomfort with the disintegrated body and felt tragic but recently the paintings have been progressing into a more tranquil reflection on frozen motion and stillness and the possibility.
