Stacie Jaye Meyer

Los Angeles, CA

Stacie Jaye grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Living in Los Angeles for close to 20 years fire season has become a part of the yearly cycle of life. Stacie has long been interested in the relationship between humans and nature, the way individuals impact each other and the world in which they live. Recently her artworks address the decimated landscapes of fire torn California. Residing within range of these natural disasters, burning hill sides have become normalized. These artworks have grown out of personal research and first-hand experience with her surroundings, inspiring a closer look at climate change and the impact humans are having on our planet.

Stacie Jaye has been creating art and showing her work In Los Angeles over the last 20 years. She documents and archives art and exhibitions for Artists . Notably, she co-created and was executive director of Temporary Space, an alternative exhibition space that used physical installations of art and an interactive digital platform to exhibit an artist’s entire body of work. She is currently in private collections throughout the United States and Canada.
